Family
I talked to my dad and the kids tonight. The girls sound happy and my dad sounds tired. He has some friends helping him, but two kids can be a handful and between the kids and the divorce, he has court cases every week for the next six weeks. My dad sounds different now. With my mom, he loved her and felt he needed to stay with her, but he wasn't happy and neither was she. I think that was part of the reason he became so socially... awkward. It's now much more pleasant to have a phone conversation with him.
